We've been having a wonderful time this week painting with Ros. Here are a few photos of our week.

Ros and I have started a blog for her so be sure to start watching her blog for Gran's news. www.gransgarden.blogspot.com

Next week I'll be on vacation but you can still register for classes by e mail. Be sure to check out the class schedule below and on the web site.

Lynn and Dianne will be in the studio on Wed morning and Wed evening to teach on Aug 1. Otherwise the studio will be closed next week. I'll come back with some interesting stories about the 500 mile yard sale. See you soon!

New Projects

Here are a couple of new project that I have just finished.

The Garden Shed is a Wed night class coming up in August. A wonderful, fun Trudy Beard design.

The kitten and fish bowl is a project that we decided to paint on Wed afternoon at the last minute. If you would like to paint it, let me know and maybe we'll schedule it at another time also. He is so cute and so fun to paint. One of Peggy Harris' new designs painted my way.

We have lots of new projects on our Fall schedule and I am busy working on class samples. So, remember to check the blog frequently to see when I add new project photos. Or better even, come by Artful Endeavors to see them in person, always a better option.

Sharon Hamilton Seminar

We have chosen projects for our seminar with Sharon Hamilton MDA, in November and they are outstanding. We'll paint her wonderful White Iris on Sat and Sun and on Friday we'll paint a great grapes and pears still life. Sharon, a master decorative artist, provides an excellent learning experience for intermediate to advanced painters who would like to increase their knowledge in art and painting techniques.

For this seminar she'll teach Global Blending with Traditions paints. According to Sharon, using this process an acrylic painter who ever wished their acrylics would blend like oils can experience the blendabilty of Global Traditions! This paint has been transformed to a smooth, creamy state allowing for easy blendability. Basically all of the water has been evaporated out of the paint and replaced with extender making them smooth and creamy, more like the consistency of oils. By the end of the seminar all of the students will be pros at this method of painting.

Registration information will be out by the end of today. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from a master.

Bobbi Takashima's White House Poster
