New Schedule Updates for Artful Endeavors Art Classes

We have updated our schedule again. What? You are not surprised? Life keeps happening and we are flexible as well as talented.
Be sure to note the new classes and date revisions on the class page.

Ocean Scene

I wanted to share the beautiful beach scene that Donna Blanton painted today. Great clouds, water, and sand. This was one of our 2 hr classes where we finished a complete painting. Come join the fun for our next class. Check the Simply Art classes on our class page.

More Still Life Painting

Here is still life from Verna Foster that I thought I had posted yesterday. It's almost finished and I can't wait to the final version.

More as they are finished. Stay tuned.

Now I see that it finally showed up in the previous post. Lucky you, you get to see it twice.

Still Life Painting

It's been so exciting to see the still life paintings evolve in our Wed classes. The students have put a lot of diligent work into their paintings and have learned much about designing and developing a still life. Most of the paintings need some more work but I'll post photos as they finish.

Here is our group with their works in progress. The paintings are awesome.

Summer Sunflower Sunshine

Loose, loose, loose and texture. How much fun are you ready to have.  Here is my latest painting. We'll begin painting these beauties in Cary on Tue evening. There's still time to join us.

Seminars at Artful Endeavors

Seminars

Wed Classes

Just wanted to remind everyone that there are no classes on May 11, Wed all day.

Artful Endeavors Update

Our classes last weekwere exciting. We started the Safe Harbor fishing boat Wed evening with indications that it’s going to turn out terrific. I’m looking forward to seeing it develop.  In our day class we’re into our still life design workshop with each student working on their own individual design.  They are enthusiastically meeting the challenges of their painting, learning lots, and have fun along the way. We have a short lunch break filled with socializing worked into our schedule too.
Our Cary painters are painting the beautiful Crimson Beauty. Such a lot of new techniques to explore. The loose techniques in this painting lend themselves to quite a bit of variety in our paintings. I love the colors in this painting.

We have more great workshops coming up soon.
·       Next week is our Barn Cat workshop on Friday morning.
·      On June 15 we have the Mountain Trail at 6:30p, another Simply Art class.  Bring a friend!
·         Saturday, May 21 is our Watercolor Sheep workshop from 9a-4p. We’re learning more about watercolor and enjoying ourselves.
·         We have a choose your own Batik workshop, June 22, 10a – 4p. Be sure to register early and plan ahead for this workshop. You will choose your own batik from Kathie George’s designs or my designs. I’ll assist everyone as needed.

Be sure to check out our weekly classes that are starting soon. Check the class page for photos. Check back frequently for updates.

More Computer Problems

My laptop is fixed and my computer at home is now fixed after many days with tech support, and I was thinking how fortunate it was that my studio computer was not giving me problems since all my studio info is on it.  Now when I came into the studio this morning ready to get some work done,  I don't have any internet connection on it. After all morning with internet tech support it's still not connected. ********

I hope all of you are reading the blog since I can't send out batch emails right now.

Also, my husband's father died yesterday and the funeral is on Wed, so no Wed class this week.  I will be here Tue, Friday and Sat. We'll pick back up with the Wed projects next week.

Thanks
Liz
