Our Basics course is designed for students with no painting experience
OR for painters with experience but who are not familiar with our techniques.
Over a 4-week period, we paint and practice, learning the basic acrylic techniques that we use, plus the art theory that applies. Starting with unfinished wood, we learn general preparation, which can later be adapted to various surfaces.

By the end of this class you will have completed a great painted project and will be prepared to continue with your decorative painting education.
Experience painters who are not familiar with our techniques are encouraged to schedule a techniques class with Liz as a refresher and to learn more about side loading and floating. Liz will customize your class to fit your needs.
Classes in the basics are scheduled at the convenience of the student and worked into our schedule in order to provide individual attention.
We also offer ongoing classes, there is always more to learn. Morning and evening classes are available at Artful Endeavors in Raleigh.
