Artful Endeavors Classes


I'm updating the classes on our class page. Summer is a great time to paint and we have some fun projects planned. Our summer classes are usually smaller because of vacations so it's also a great time to catch up with some of the classes that you missed or get help with your own special painting. We have our open class on Tue morning and Wed evening is an open class this summer. Wed during the day is also a possibility if Tue doesn't work for you. Society Of Decorative Painting


It has been a thrill to have my article appear on the cover of the Decorative Painter magazine. In case you don't know, this is the journal for the Society of Decorative Painting that goes out internationally. If you are not already a member you should join and support our society. You'll also receive the journal, all issues of 2009 with both of my articles, and keep informed about what is going on in decorative painting.

I have have congratulations from many of our painters, and thanks. It's been nice to hear from all of you. Come paint with me.

I was asked and agreed to donate my painting to the permanent collection at the Society of Decorative Painters in Wichita KS where it is now on display. Next year you can attend Conference in Wichita and go by the Society to see my painting as well as many other wonderful paintings.

Online classes


I have joined the group of teachers on Creative Workshops, my friend Gail's brain child. My first class is Drawing Faces! After lots of trials with my video cameras and a solution of a new video camera, I think the class turned out good. This video makes drawing faces, or just understanding facial proportions, easy. This information is especially helpful in painting portraits.

Liz's Vacation
